Someone told me one day that selling services is good, but selling a story is better. The web for me is a bit more than a sector; itâs a whole world that I have discovered and loved over the past few years, and here is my story.
From hobby to passion.
The beginnings: a kid passionate about computers
Thatâs me as a kid
I have always had something with computers. Even as a little kid, I was dismantling computer towers, tinkering with printers, and dissecting speakers; I absolutely wanted to understand how it worked⌠But it was only in high school that I had the click: the code. The Galton board
Code is basically the way to communicate with the machine, using a specific language. The first one for me was Python, with a beautiful simulation of a Galton board during my Integration course in digital sciences.
Â
At the time, it wasnât revolutionary, but for me, it was the beginning of an adventure. A true revelation. I realized that with code, all I needed was a computer and time, and I could create.
Â
The call of the web: a limitless playground
After high school, I headed to IUT of Montpellier to deepen this budding hobby. There, I discovered what would become my passion: the web.
Â
The web can be represented as a web where everything is connected, but itâs not quite that. I see the web as a vast wasteland where you can build anything, and everyone can visit. Anything is possible, as long as you have the right building blocks and a good vision.
I took the time to explore the behind-the-scenes: how a machine works, how databases are structured, network concepts⌠In short, everything that may seem boring but is essential for creating, leading to some amateur projects that were promising at the time.

Then one fine day, a speaker arrives and talks to us about HTML. I got so hooked that he ended up telling me:
Â
"Not bad, you should sign up on freelance sites to sell what you already know how to do".
That was the click number 2. I started freelancing, found my first clients, and discovered the real stakes of the profession. I was still a young developer, my prices were ridiculous, but I learned everything: design, SEO, development, hosting, client communication... As a freelancer, you become a one-man band, and thatâs a school in itself.

The tool that would change everything
Then came a third decisive turning point: I discovered Symfony.
If youâre not in the field, Iâll need to explain a few terms:
Â
PHP is the language that powers the majority of modern websites (+75% even today).
A framework is a kit that accelerates development by enforcing good practices.
Symfony is one of the most powerful PHP frameworks.
With Symfony, I could finally develop faster and cleaner. But one problem remainedâŚ
I was still wasting too much time. I was a perfectionist. Each project took me months for a site worth 800âŹ. Raise my prices? Not possible. My clients loved me just for my affordable rates and the quality I offered.

I needed a solution. But before imagining it, I had to put my activity on hold to find an internship. I then joined a Montpellier web agency.
A pause⌠but also a lack
There, I learned a lot: project management, new technologies, teamwork... I even had the opportunity to work for major French players, both public and private. To say that I have known and had time to understand all the tricks of âprofessionalâ tools. Although expensive, these solutions used simply brilliant open-source principles.
But the romance doesnât last forever, as several things bother me: too little creative freedom, soulless projects, a mountain of responsibilities⌠for a salary that doesnât evolve. And above all⌠I miss freelancing.
Thatâs when I decided to take on a challenge: to create the tool that would allow me to freelance differently. A tool that would incorporate all the good practices learned so far, and that I could modularize to develop while spending much less time writing code, and more time creating a perfect solution for my clients.
Â
My biggest project (For now?)
I launched my project one evening in August 2022, aware of the difficulties I would face before making any profit.
Three years of sleepless nights
Evenings, weekends, lunch breaks, sleepless nights⌠for over three years, I built the application of my dreams alongside my salaried job. Not NoCode, but LessCode: the goal was not to create an interface where you can only quickly create a website, that already exists, but to create an interface that I could use to ensure the creation of equally professional sites, in less time. A kind of custom tool for my creations.
The tool then took shape and became truly functional. I started by creating some test sites, including my own. Thereâs still a long way to go, but itâs time; it can really be used. I decided to break my contract to return to freelancing full-time.
Â
The result: a revolution for the web
Today, my project delivers on its promises, and the results are there: I can create a complete site of impeccable quality in 7 days instead of 6 months.
⨠Each client benefits from the experience accumulated on previous projects. I can finally offer what I have wanted forever: professional sites, created quickly, at an unbeatable price.
