To optimise development and overcome technical constraints inherent to WordPress, I implemented a complete Docker stack. This development infrastructure ensures a reproducible and isolated environment, facilitating testing and deployment.
Docker stack for development
The development environment includes containers for MySQL, PHP, Apache, and build tools. This approach allows for quick installation on any new development station and avoids version conflicts. The stack is configured for hot-reload, significantly accelerating the development cycle.
Animated logo as creative loader
Faced with limited WordPress performance when using many iframes, I created a custom animated logo for CinéVerse. This GIF animation shows the name "CinéVerse" appearing and disappearing smoothly, transforming loading time into an engaging visual experience rather than user frustration.
Redesign towards a Cadarsir application
Recognising the limitations of WordPress for this type of project, I have already begun a complete redesign using our Cadarsir framework. This migration will definitively resolve performance issues while maintaining the visual identity and features appreciated by the CinéVerse community.
