Exidia Redesign

The Exidia project focused on a specific need: creating a high-performance e-commerce platform for a mushroom producer in Corrèze. I developed a complete solution using Symfony as the main framework and EasyAdmin for the administration interface, ensuring a robust and scalable architecture. The e-commerce architecture was entirely developed in-house to perfectly match Exidia's specific needs. The product management system allows for total flexibility: each product can include several variants and offers, thus adapting to the manager's unique workflow. The EasyAdmin interface offers intuitive management of stocks, orders, and editorial content. Particular attention was paid to the customer experience. The automatic recognition system via cookies allows regular visitors to quickly access their personal space. The data policy, compliant with GDPR regulations, ensures transparent and secure management of personal information.

The integration of Stripe as a payment solution guarantees secure and fluid transactions. Customers benefit from a modern and reliable payment interface, with support for major bank cards and digital payment methods. A sophisticated delivery cost calculation module was developed, taking the delivery address into account to automatically offer the fairest rate. This intelligent system optimises logistics costs while offering total transparency to customers regarding shipping fees. The design is directly inspired by the world of mushrooms with a palette of natural colours (brown, beige, touches of gold) and subtle visual effects evoking the earth and nature. This visual identity strengthens the premium perception of Exidia products.

The flagship feature of the Exidia site lies in its innovative dynamic linking system between products and recipes. This module allows visitors to discover how to cook and enhance each product ordered, creating a true culinary experience. Each product in the back office can be associated with one or more recipes, creating an enriched content ecosystem. When a customer views a specific mushroom, they automatically discover the recipes that highlight it, with ingredients, detailed instructions, and preparation tips. The system goes beyond simple display: recipes are dynamically linked to products available in stock, allowing customers to discover new products through the recipes they consult. This natural cross-selling approach increases engagement and average basket value. From the EasyAdmin interface, the operator can easily associate recipes with products, manage cross-selling suggestions, and update editorial content. The system also offers automatic recommendations based on existing associations.

The Exidia project perfectly illustrates my ability to develop complex and bespoke e-commerce solutions. The combination of a robust technical architecture, an intuitive user interface, and innovative business features has allowed Exidia to stand out in its niche market. The delivered site meets the highest web performance standards, with optimised loading times and a fluid experience across all devices. The Symfony architecture guarantees long-term stability and scalability. Symfony 5, EasyAdmin, Stripe API, custom MVC architecture, responsive design, SEO optimisation, GDPR compliance, automated testing, and continuous deployment. Each stage of development was designed to meet the specific needs of the agri-food sector. The platform continues to evolve with new features regularly added based on user feedback and Exidia's business needs. The modularity of the architecture facilitates the integration of new features without impacting the existing ones.
