When first launched, Graine de Bonheur was intentionally kept simple. Elisa still managed her appointments in a paper diary, prepared her gift vouchers on Canva, and sent the necessary forms for each service separately. As the business grew, this organisation became a significant source of mental load: diary pages scribbled out after every slot change, replies lost in emails, travel costs difficult to estimate, and several hours spent creating a single gift voucher. The project then evolved in stages to transform the site into a daily working tool, without taking away the control Elisa needed. The new booking page allows the client to choose whether they want to book or give a gift, select a service or a gift box, then specify the location when the service is available at both Le Cocon and at home. The platform then composes the form adapted to this context, applies the correct duration, and automatically calculates any travel costs based on a reference table.Card payments immediately validate the booking. For cash payments, the request remains to be confirmed by Elisa to prevent bots or suspicious entries from blocking a real slot. A pre-qualification layer analyses, among other things, the consistency of the email, phone number, and values sent by the form. The availability offered to clients takes Elisa's Google Calendar into account. A personal or professional event automatically blocks the corresponding slot. After validation or payment, the booking is added to the calendar and the client receives their confirmation. For home services, the platform also reserves thirty minutes before and after the appointment. Elisa thus has the necessary time to prepare her equipment, tidy up, and travel, without the risk of creating overlapping appointments. When a client moves their slot from their client area, Elisa is notified and can confirm the new proposal or get back in touch with them.Creating a gift voucher previously could take almost a day. Canva templates had to be regularly adjusted according to the message, recipient information, or new service photos. Now, online payment triggers the immediate generation of a voucher adapted to the chosen service, ready to be printed.Recipients access their area via the voucher's QR code. During its six-month validity period, they can modify their message, regenerate the document, choose a slot, and fill in the necessary forms. The responses are directly linked to the booking: Elisa receives a notification and can open or print a summary before the session. The first version was delivered at the end of October 2025 after two weeks of development. Online payment was added in March 2026 during a one-week upgrade. In June 2026, two additional weeks allowed for the delivery of the current platform: booking composer, travel calculation, gift vouchers, promotional codes, client area, and technical redesign. This latest evolution accompanied the opening of Le Cocon, Graine de Bonheur's new premises in Montpellier. From her dashboard, Elisa updates her services and their photos, manages temporary offers and promotional codes, views requests, and maintains control over her schedule. The site has become both her main organisational tool and a showcase she shares with confidence. This bespoke development transforms a small business website into a professional web application, while preserving a simple user experience.
