To optimise development and overcome technical constraints inherent to WordPress, I set up a complete Docker stack. This development infrastructure ensures a reproducible and isolated environment, facilitating testing and deployment.
Docker stack for development
The development environment includes containers for MySQL, PHP, Apache, and build tools. This approach allows for quick setup on any new development machine and avoids version conflicts. The stack is configured for hot-reloading, significantly speeding up the development cycle.
Animated logo as a creative loader
Given WordPress's performance limitations with numerous iframes, I created a custom animated logo for CinéVerse. This GIF animation shows the name "CinéVerse" appearing and disappearing smoothly, turning loading time into an engaging visual experience rather than user frustration.
Transitioning to a Cadarsir application
Recognising the limitations of WordPress for this type of project, I have already begun a complete redesign using our Cadarsir framework. This migration will definitively resolve performance issues while retaining the visual identity and features valued by the CinéVerse community.
